Sundays, February 23 and March 1, 2pm
AUDITIONS WILL BE BY APPOINTMENT:
Auditions will be held at The Footlight Club Theatre (Eliot Hall), 7A Eliot St, Jamaica Plain, MA.
*Monday, December 9 and Tuesday, December 10, By appointment, 7 – 8pm & 8 – 9pm
*Callbacks are Thursday, December 12 from 7 – 10 pm.
We are seeking a deaf actress to play the role of Betsy.
An ASL Interpreter will be available on Tuesday, December 10.

The first rehearsal is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, 1/5/20 at 1pm. Rehearsals will begin that week and will be Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 – 10 pm and Sundays from 1 – 5 pm.
Tech week is Sunday, February 16 through opening night, February 22.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
Audition Details:
• You will be asked to read sides from the show.
• Bring your resume and head shot (does not have to be a professional headshot).
• Know your conflicts from December 16 through February 15 to list on the audition sheet. Please be thorough. Some conflicts can be scheduled around if we know about them ahead of time.
Other Audition Info:
• Appointment times are start times. Each time slot will accommodate up to twenty (20) auditioners. Please arrive in enough time prior to your appointment time to be ready to begin the process promptly.
• Missed appointments or late arrivals will only be accommodated as space and time allows.
• Not all roles require callbacks.
• Actors needed at callbacks will be notified following each audition (or by 10am the day of Callbacks). Actors called back will be given additional sides to work on.
• To streamline the registration process the Producer will email you an Audition Form. Please bring the completed form with you to auditions.
• All actors will be notified of casting results following callbacks.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN
Betsy (Act I): Caucasian female, late 20s– 30s. Married to Karl and seven months pregnant. Betsy is deaf but does speak, although her speech is difficult to understand.
