For all older adults and caregivers in Massachusetts who are Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, or Late-Deafened
OPEN FORUM
[Three images in a row are shown. First image: an older woman with gray hair sits on the couch at home. Her caregiver is standing next to her, leaning in to show compassion. Both are smiling at each other. Second image: an older man with gray hair sits in a comfortable chair near two large windows. His hands are in his lap and he appears to be contemplative, or perhaps he is just staring into space. On the other side of the room is an empty chair. Third image: three older women are seated at a table with plates of food. Five older men and women stand around the table. All are smiling and gesturing to each other.]

Hello!
I’m Jill from DEAF, Inc.
Are you a senior, caregiver, or older adult here in Massachusetts, and are you Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, or Late-Deafened?
DEAF, Inc. invites you to join us at open forums on Monday, March 17, 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM, or Friday, March 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
[Zoom logo appears at the upper right corner of the frame.]
If you’d like to come to the first forum, or the second, or both, you’re welcome to.
So, what are the forums about?
Regarding seniors, caregivers and older adults here in MA, what type of supports do they need?
If a Deaf person has Alzheimer’s or dementia, what services do they need?
And day programs in communities across the state – are they accessible to our population? How can accessibility be improved?
