(Visual description – white Woman, brown hair, maroon T shirt, gray background) Hi, I’m Jennifer Rogers, President of WMAD – Western Massachusetts Association of the Deaf Jennifer: We want to let our community know that we were looking forward to meeting new people and socialize during this Saturday’s WMAD/MSAD apple picking joint event on September 16th. Unfortunately, we decided to cancel this event because of Hurricane Lee’s potential impact on Massachusetts with power outage, strong winds, and rain. We feel that risk may be a factor for those traveling from different parts of the state. We will postpone our joint gathering. Stephanie: Yes, we want to keep people safe although the impact may vary throughout the state. We will let the community know where and when and what the next joint event will be.
